Musical presentation and discussion of the
North German
Organ School of the late 17th
and early 18th centuries focusing on the work of Schnitger.
Following each program, the organ will be available for
organists who wish to play it. Bring your favorite
baroque music and enjoy the Schnitger Experience!
This
will be an informal, but very interesting opportunity for
serious organists and listeners. The historic pipe organ
sampled for Opus IV is documented to have been played by
Johann Sebastian Bach and is said to have been one of
his favorites.
